Uniform at HRHS

Hunter River High School is a proud uniform school. We expect all students to wear full school uniform each day. Wearing our uniform promotes a strong sense of belonging, encourages pride in our school, and clearly identifies us within the community.

• Students are expected to maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and neatness.
• Make-up and jewellery should be minimal.
• If students are unable to wear a uniform on a particular day, alternative clothing and accessories must be clean, safe, modest, and as close to uniform as possible. Denim jeans and tights are not permitted at any time. A note from parents/carers explaining the lack of full uniform is to be presented to the Head Teacher Wellbeing before 9am.
• Work Health and Safety legislation, makes it mandatory for all students to wear white or black, solid and enclosed leather shoes within the school grounds, especially in practical and science subjects.
• If a family is unable to purchase a uniform, please contact the school for assistance.

Hunter River High School uniform can be purchased from Lowes Raymond Terrace.
