Subject selection for Year 11 and Year 12 courses

The final two years of school are a special and fulfiling time that open pathways to further study and career opportunities. Choosing subjects for Years 11 and 12 should be carefully considered in line with individual career goals and future plans.

Hunter River High School is committed to providing comprehensive advice to help students select courses that best match their abilities, interests, and aspirations. Because subject selection for the HSC is an important decision, the process begins in mid-Term 2 to allow ample time. Students are encouraged to discuss their options with a range of people to make well-informed choices.
