Are you a parent, caregiver, or community member who wants to make a meaningful difference at Hunter River High School? Join our welcoming and inclusive P&C (Parents & Citizens) group! We’re currently looking for new members and would love to see some fresh faces at our meetings. We’re not about fundraising – our focus is on discussing important aspects of our children’s schooling, being a positive voice in the school community, and helping shape the future of HRHS

Here’s what being part of the P&C looks like:

• Have your say on school policies, procedures, and the school plan.

• Hear directly from the Principal and Student Representative Council with regular reports.

• Support school improvements by contributing to grant applications (grants must come through the P&C – not the school).

• Play a key role in staff appointments through panel participation.

• Share your ideas for how we can be an even more effective and productive P&C.

• Keep it simple – just one meeting a month via Microsoft Teams.

It’s a low-commitment, high-impact way to stay informed, have your voice heard, and support our students and school staff.
