Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) is a whole school focus that recognises and rewards student for upholding our school values within our school community. Hunter River High School (HRHS) is very proud of the successes we have experienced since its implementation in 2012 and we continue to embrace PBL in every aspect of our school.
Through PBL we have been able to explore what is important to students, staff and our local community. At HRHS we value HARMONY, RESPECT, HONESTY, and SUCCESS. All students and staff are working towards achieving these values each and every day; these values represent the culture at HRHS. PBL at HRHS is about sharing common beliefs, values and experiences, and working together in the pursuit of success in our lives.
HRHS is proud to be a part of the Raymond Terrace Community PBL initiative. Alongside 8 other local schools, Raymond Terrace Market Place, Hunter Valley Buses, Port Stephens Council and Raymond Terrace Bowling Club, we strive to embed positive behaviour into the local community by planning and preparing lessons that teach all students the values desired in our community.
