In creative arts, students discover a variety of art forms through a study of dance, drama, music and visual arts.

The Creative Arts faculty provides students with opportunities to engage in a broad range of artistic disciplines, including Dance, Music, Visual Arts, and Visual Design. Through the study of these art forms, students develop strong discipline-specific knowledge alongside essential skills in creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking—capabilities that are vital for success in the future world of work.

Creative Arts education fosters a mindset of innovation and inquiry, equipping students to confidently generate original ideas, experiment with artistic processes, and critically evaluate their work and the work of others. It also prepares students to become both active producers and discerning consumers of visual and cultural content in an increasingly complex and image-saturated world.

In Years 7 and 8, students undertake 100 hours of study in both Music and Visual Arts, forming the foundation of their creative education. From Year 9 onwards, students have the opportunity to extend and refine their skills through a range of elective courses, including Dance, Elective Music, Photography, Elective Visual Arts, and Visual Design.
