As photography and Digital Imaging has increased in popularity over the years, Hunter River High School have now accomodated for this interest by offering photography based courses to a range of stages within the school.
Photography and Digital Imaging is now available to Elective students in Years 8, 9, 11 and 12.
Photography and Digital Imaging offers students the opportunity to explore contemporary artisitc practices that make use of photography, video and digital imaging. This course acknowledges that traditionally accepted boundaries of photography are changing as a consequence of the widespread use of digital technologies. The subject content in this course addresses traditional aspects of the field of wet photography and offers students opportunities to explore more contemporary developments and in the fields of Digital Art and Imaging.
