Students will move up levels for recognised positive behaviour and down levels for negative behaviour.

 

1. ACCEPTABLE AND APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR

All students start at this level

Commendation

 

(Issued for excellent behaviour, work, etc.)

2 in a week from 2 Faculties will result in a phone call home from the Year Adviser and/or a letter of congratulations

2. Causing Concern

 

Yellow monitoring card – 1 week

DP Roll Call (whilst on card)

Parents notified by phone

Referral to support people/groups

i.e. LST, STLA

Bronze (5 Commendations)

 

Presented at a Year Meeting

 Letter home to parents/carers from DP

$5 Canteen Voucher

3. Causing Greater Concern

 

Blue Monitoring Card – 1 week

DP Roll Call

Parents notified by letter

Students counselled by Year Adviser and/or

Head Teacher Welfare

Student interviewed by Deputy Principal

Referral to support people/groups

i.e. LST, STLA

No Excursions to be attended

Silver (15 Commendations)

 

Rewards – 1st in bus and canteen lines

(Not if on a card)

Presented at Whole School Assembly

4. Formal Pre suspension

5. Suspension from School

 

Return to school on Level 3

Return from suspension meeting &

appropriate plans/supports put in place

May be imposed immediately if behaviour warrants suspension according to the

"DET Suspension & Expulsion of School Students Procedures" or if other attempts to modify behaviour are unsuccessful
